HELEN B. SCHUTZ, CPO® — Professional Organizer


Helen was born and raised in Houston. As one of eight children, she acquired the “organizing gene” in the family. As a kid, she coordinated neighborhood events on summer nights including trampoline shows and plays. After college, a job in the oil and gas industry led to a career in records management. Helen started her business in 2007 when she realized her skills and background were uniquely suited for professional organizing.

HBS Organizing (Have a Better Solution Organizing) works with both business and residential clients to produce organizing solutions that meet the needs and budget of the client. Helen, a Certified Professional Organizer, is a member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers), ICD (Institute of Challenging Disorganization), APPO (Association of Personal Photo Organizers) and is a certified paralegal. Helen received her CD Specialist Certificate from ICD in September 2010. She has served on the NAPO Houston Board of Directors as Treasurer and Membership Director and volunteers with Friends of the Houston Public Library.

Helen follows NAPO’s Code of Ethics and maintains strict confidentiality when working with clients.
